RSS Weather

I had a look at accuweather.com after i had found this one at http://www.weatherzone.com.au/rss.jsp

From what i can see with my untrained eyes, i it covers all the aspects we need for our 'forcasting widget'. ie. wind speed, temp, amount of rain and i think it has a 1 day weather forcast... so yeah. check it out.. i think this will be the one to use.. so ill get experementing with the importing to flash and chop up the code so it only has the stuff we need.

Remember, it'd be better if instead of a forecast, we could have something that has *current* weather. As in, Updated every hour or so. So that our weather simulation is as live as possible

But if this data works, that's okay.

Well for this instance would it be better to use this just so we have a working prototype for wednesday? Then we can work on finding a more current one for the final?

Never Mind, Read the Accuweather site, the 'observations' feed seems like it should do the trick nicely!

why dont you guys download the macosx weather widet on a mac, unpack it, save out the html, css an d javascript files then use where-ever you want. Might be fater to hack that rather than start from scratch..... just an idea.
